Overview: Caltha LLP was retained by this specialty plastics manufacturer to review and summarize federal, state and local regulations regarding store of compressed flammable gas at their location. The facility was planning a new process which would require storage and use of flammable materials not previously used on-site. The review included local fire department rules, county hazardous material storage requirements, State tank and hazardous material storage regulations, and federal EPCRA Tier 2 and TRI reporting requirements.
