Overview: Caltha prepared a Phase 1 environmental site assessment for this property; the Phase 1 identified some abandoned underground hydraulic lifts at the site which were determined to be Recognized Environmental Conditions, due to their potential to have leaked. The subsequent Phase 2 soil and groundwater investigation determined that releases had occurred from one of the hydraulic lifts which had resulted in impacted soil and groundwater at the site, which exceeded applicable Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources standards.
