Overview: Caltha performed a compliance audit for this importer to assess compliance with applicable requirements under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). Under TSCA, importers of chemicals are subject to similar requirements as chemical manufacturers. This work reviewed the client’s existing systems to comply with applicable requirements and documentation to demonstrate compliance. The audit resulted in recommendations for improvements to existing procedures to assure that all shipments were in compliance with TSCA.
